So…I work a few hours a week over at Passport Furnishings. If you haven’t ever been there, you need to go! Super cute stuff, great quality furniture, custom upholstery and the prices are absolutely amazing!
but that’s not what this post is about…
I have a fellow co-worker there who is eager to adopt a baby. He and his wife are going to make fantastic parents! A few months back, they had a fundraiser dinner party to help with some of the funding for an adoption. I donated a gift certificate for a free photo session to be auctioned off at the fundraiser.
This super cute couple are the ones who outbid everyone else for my free session:

If you can’t tell, they’re expecting their first baby (or at least they were at the time we conducted this session. Baby Ruby was born the Saturday following Thanksgiving) And they too are going to be fantastic parents! These two are too cute together and are truly in love. Rachael is so sweet and such a great looking baby carrier, and the hubs is so loving. Miss Ruby is one lucky gal!
You know, many women are afraid of maternity sessions. Trust me, I know the feeling. You’re bloated, totally chubby, and wearing clothes that make you feel like a tent. The last thing you want to do is have someone photograph it for you to remember all your life. But trust me, if you don’t, you will regret it. And, just because you are pregnant and the session is to capture you and your baby belly, does not mean we have to show skin. Baby belly photos covered in clothing are just as adorable as those that aren’t! (this session here is proof!)
I had the help of Big Day Vintage Rentals (like them on Facebook here.) with stylizing this session. If you’re looking for a cute couch for photos or need some fun vintage chairs for your wedding, definitely check them out! You’ll be glad you did!
Enjoy these beautiful photos of miss Rachael and her adorable baby bump.
Just a friendly reminder to my clients (and their family and friends):
